The quality of a person’s words is often dictated by the condition of his mood. Outbursts are the product of an inability to control one’s emotions or mood but exercising patience can be the saviour. Always spare a moment of patience to consider whether words about to be spoken are appropriate or not and if they can cause distress or hurt to another, the best option is to remain silent and refrain from uttering them. Words once spoken are irretrievable and no amount of repair work can ever patch up a heart that is hurt. People can forgive but emotionally it is virtually impossible for them to forget. We are given two ears to listen more but only one mouth to speak less.
